Day 26/365: Tip of The Day – Freezing Cookies

Goooood morning friends! Happy Sunday and a full day of relaxing! Unless you have a 10 month old like me.

Today comes to you in the form of frozen goodies. Have you ever been sitting on the couch at night watching a show and thought to yourself, “I wish I had a cookie”. Welllllllll friends here is a great way to have a quick cookie fix any day or night of the week.

Mix up a batch of your favorite cookies. Ball them up and place them on a baking sheet. Put the baking sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes to an hour. Once they are frozen you can put them all in a ziplock bag and back into the freezer. You can store them in the freezer for up to a month.

When you have a hankering for a cookie you just preheat the oven, put a few of the frozen cookies on a baking sheet and bake! Make sure you add another 2-3 minutes to the normal baking time since you are baking from frozen. And voila, you have yourself a fresh batch of cookies in less than 15 minutes.

This is a game changer for us, we can always be certain that there will be an option if we get a craving or have friends over for game night. It is an easy and delicious way to enjoy a fast home-made dessert!

Thanks for reading! I hope this brings your home the delicious smell of fresh baked cookies 🙂

Love, Tasman
